The story of LOS40 102.7 (GDL)
XEHL-FM is a radio station on 102.7 FM in Guadalajara, Jalisco, owned by Radiópolis, where it carries the Los 40 format.
The station received its first concession on April 2, 1969 as the sister FM to XEHL-AM 1010 and was known as Sonido 103. It kept that name through the 1990s, even after original owner Radio Comerciales de Jalisco was sold to Radiópolis in 1992.
In 1999 it switched to English-language alternative music as Radical 102.7, later tweaking its format to English pop and rock as FrecuenciAdictiva 102.7. In 2003 the station became pop outlet Vox FM, and the next year it adopted the Los 40 format.
On November 8, 2017, the IFT authorized relocating XEHL-FM's transmitter to Cerro del Cuatro.
