The story of EXA FM 98.1 (Guasave)
EXA FM 98.1 (XHGSE-FM) is a radio station in Guasave, Sinaloa, owned by RSN, carrying the Exa FM pop format from MVS Radio.
The station received its concession on June 29, 1990, and was owned by Carlos Abdel Chávez López. In the 2000s, it broadcast grupera music as MaxiRadio.
In early 2011, the two stations in the Grupo Chávez Radio cluster were leased to Grupo Megamedios, which launched the pop format "Máxima".
On June 15, 2015, RSN took over operations and launched MVS Radio's national Exa FM format. In 2016, the transfer of the concession to RSN was completed.
