The story of 100.5 Radio Universidad (Durango)
Radio Universidad 100.5 (XHHD-FM) is the station of the Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango, broadcasting on 100.5 FM in the city of Durango.
The station signed on in 1976 as XEHD-AM 1270. It later migrated to FM as part of the Mexican government's scheme to move stations from AM to FM.
In 2011, UJED signed a contract allowing a community radio station in Tayoltita, San Dimas Municipality, to retransmit its programs to serve the Primero Empresa Minera plant there. That station received a regular concession in 2015 and became XHPEM-FM 100.7.
