100.3 El Heraldo Radio (GDL)

Heraldo Radio is heard on 100.3 FM in Guadalajara, carrying a news/talk format, and is owned by the El Heraldo de México newspaper. The station is a full-time simulcast of XHDL-FM in Mexico City.

The frequency has a long history: XEAV-FM 100.3 received its concession on November 25, 1963, though it had been operating since at least February 1958, making it the first FM station in Jalisco. It originally simulcast XEAV-AM 580 "Radio Guadalajara". Between 1970 and 1976, it became XHAV-FM with its own programming. In the 1980s, the station turned to a younger audience with rock music as "Super Stereo", and was considered a launching pad for radio personalities in Guadalajara.

In 2004, XHAV was sold by Núcleo Radio Guadalajara to Grupo Imagen, and on January 30, 2006, Super Stereo was relaunched as RMX, a format aimed at listeners aged 18 to 30. RMX proved successful enough that Imagen expanded it to Torreón, Querétaro, Celaya, Nuevo Laredo and Cancún between 2007 and 2011. In 2010, RMX launched the annual 212 concert in Guadalajara, now one of western Mexico's largest musical events.

On June 16, 2019, Grupo Imagen and Grupo Andrade, owners of the El Heraldo de México newspaper, announced an agreement to sell XHAV-FM and XHDL-FM to the newspaper. RMX signed off on June 21, 2019, and El Heraldo began operating the station as Heraldo Radio the next day. The IFT approved the transfer of the concessions to GA Radiocomunicaciones, a Grupo Andrade subsidiary, on August 28, 2019.
